Can having IT certifications land me a job without a college degree?

I want to get stated in the IT field, so I want to get a couple certifications (ex: A+ & Network+ ). I do not have a college degree, but I do plan on going back to college to finish my degree. I’m just ready to start working at a job that is more towards more career goals and I figure getting certifications would help. But will just the certifications get me through the door??
