I don’t know if I should go or not. I’m very interested in investing and business. I live at home and have a job and I’ve been saving all my money from it. Should I just keep the job and try to invest the money and get my own business started on my own, or should I go to college and get a degree? The only words that come to mind are kinesiology, training, sports medicine (but I don’t think i’d have a mind for medical school.) What else is out there?

First off, i’ve just started college (2nd semester now for me) and currently atempting to obtain a degree in one thing, but now i’m sort of having second thoughts and have been thinking about another major… I know it’s probably different for all colleges/universities, but what’s the general thing to do and information on not only switching but also having a double major. I know pretty much nothing about how it all works as I have yet to speak with any counselors and what not, so any information is ok (classes i’ve taken now worth anything, were these last semester useless etc…)

I don’t think education is overrated at all,but I think the notion that without a college degree you won’t be a success in life is.While I think certain careers you need one EX:doctors,lawyers,etc. But IMO a college degree doesn’t guarantee you anything. I work with 3 people who have masters degrees and they make less than I do,and I don’t have my degree. Bill Gates is a great example,he has no degree but is a billionaire.
