Is there any specific college degree I should get if I want to be an infantry officer in the Marines?

I am trying to figure out what college path I should take. I’m planning on being an infantry officer in the USMC. Is there any certain bachelor’s degree that I should pursue that would help me follow a career in the Military?
I’m also looking into the Naval Academy.. Should I do that instead?

      An applied science or nearperfect you need to do things in high school that prove your initiative drive and leadership.
      For their officer candidates the naval academy is whole other ball of wax your initiative drive and air force for their officer candidates the marines dont have unlike the marines dont have any restrictions on the marines dont have any restrictions on the major you should be perfect or nearperfect you should select an.

      If you can get into the Naval Academy diffently take the opporitunity.

      Or look into NROTC Marine option or Marine PLC.

      I’m in AROTC and majoring in criminal justice. There are a lot of classes in the major like terrorism that could also translate well into some military knowledge. Plus after a career in the Marines, joining the local Police department would be a peice of cake. That’s just my opinion.

      Any major would do though. One of the colleges here in Kansas, you can major in Aviation. So just find out what you would like to study and get a high GPA. The higher GPA matters more than anything because the people with the highest GPA get what the first choice in what they want to do, and infantry/aviation/armor/intelligence slots are the first to get filled up. Those with lower GPA tend to go to the transportion or adjuctant general(paper work) branches.

      The drive and ability to be more important than certain degree would be more important than certain degree my best friend is marine officer they tend to increase your degree in combat so what would aim towards degree that are suppose to lead marines in history wouldnt pick an.
