Is there really any difference between a 2 yr nursing program and a college degree?

Ms. Blunt asked:

A college degree in nursing (4 yrs). Im just curious because college is more expensive than a tech school of some kind. Is the tech school frowned upon when getting a job?

The more common something is the easier less knowledge and the less proven andor less its valued 2year certificates are better than an actual 4year degree 2year certificates are easier less proven andor less knowledge and thus less valuable than an actual 4year degree 2year and votech schools are better than an actual 4year degree.

If there is no difference in the pay between both programs. I would just go to tech schools. Nowadays, hospitals can’t afford to be choosy. Nursing pays a lot of money per hour, and I wouldn’t cry about the difference in the degrees. Which do you want? The pay or the prestige?
